Environmental Matters

Our goal is to help clients develop and improve their ability to prepare for and react to environmental developments, whether in the form of notices of violation, toxic tort suits, developments and recent opinions throughout the United States and in several foreign countries. We are continually staying abreast of the shifting environmental standards in various industry arenas.

Public Finance

The Firm specializes in many phases of tax exempt and taxable financings. The Firm counsels issuers, underwriters and investors on virtually every aspect of public finance transactions. The Firm has ample and varied experience, on a national basis, with the laws relating to public finance and brings a wealth of knowledge to the transactions on which the Firm is selected to work. As a result of that national experience, Delgado & Associates, P.C. is able to assist in facilitating the flow and implementation of creative and cost-saving financing techniques to and for the benefit of the Firm’s clients.

Banking

Delgado & Associates, P.C. provides advice on transactional matters for both domestic and international clients. The transactional matters include preparing unsecured and secured loan agreements for banks and for corporate and state agencies revolving loan funds.

Real Estate and Structured Finance

Delgado & Associates, P.C. regularly works with private developers, non-profit community groups, banks and churches in structuring affordable multi-family and single-family housing developments and community development projects such as business incubator projects. Often the Firm is called upon to assist clients in complying with municipal laws and regulations in order to access government funds to complete proposed financings. The Firm has experience in drafting Open Access Plans for the City of New Orleans and in ensuring compliance with various local, state and federal guidelines which maybe required with respect to certain business and finance transactions.

Civil and Appellate Litigation

Civil and Appellate litigation as both defense and plaintiff’s counsel related to commercial disputes and/or administrative rulings. The head of the Firm’s litigation department has ample experience in administrative matters with various government agencies including the Texas Workforce Commission, social security administration, and Worker’s Compensation Commission.
